Many of you may be wondering who "PC Peppi 1126" is. This is my15.2hh "brown" AQHA mare "Moosie" . Every now and again you may hear "Mouse" slip out and that is because that was her barn name before I bought her. I do not know much about her past because I bought her 4 days after her 5th birthday.
When I first bought Moosie, she was a handful, and still is. Back then, she did NOT know how to stand, even for 2 seconds. You said "Woah" She stopped, and then walked off. She would not stand still. After a few good rides of just standing work, she got the idea... She is still quite the handfull when she wants to be, energetic, playful, just wanting to do everything at once. Other then that, shes my little girl. Though I was really looking for an untrained horse to trainmyself, I am glad I ended up with my baby girl. In a few years, I plan to breed her to a Paint stud and get some color out of her.
As of right now, we are running barrels. At home, we our norm is around 17.5 seconds, though we have hit 16.5. She has the speed, I just need to learn to ride it. I am hoping that by the end of this year, we are hitting at least 17's at our favorite place to run, Dawsons Creek Ranch. It will be their second year of racing and I just can't wait!
For fun we also do a little bit of jumping, trail riding, and of course, just chillin out in the grass. Shes my life. <3
